My boys absolutely love the Aberdeen Angus flavour. After 2 out of the 3 had 'the op' I decided they looked a little chunkier than usual. I opted for the lighter Turkey version. 2 wolf it down but the fussy one has started to leave kibble in his bowl and then guard it from the other 2. So with my next order we will be going back to the Beef variety. Which they all love and there is never a single kibble left!!!. I shall just cut their portions size down a tad.

Mash had been on Royal Canine since we got him at 8 weeks old. My two oldest Dachshunds have struggled to maintain their weight since being neutered. I have tried lots of light foods that my fussy boys would not eat. The light grain free turkey kibble that you supply is a God send! They love the food and are satisfied with the recommended amounts to be given daily and coats are glossy. As a new Daxie owner, there's lots to learn, and food choice is the biggest. Our little guy can be fussy so I came to those who have taken time to put together something appetising. And it was a great choice. He loves the turkey light. He's always looking for more and seems very satisfied once he's eaten. He isn't itching so much so I'm guessing that's also down to the fresh ingredients. It's certainly a winner in our house.

Prince ate it with gusto for first 2 days then back to his normal fussy self. After trying a great many different foods I settled on mixed feeding, he rarely has the same every day. I make sure he has all nutrients over a week. I like that the pieces are bigger and crunchier than most he has.

My dog in general will not eat any dry food. I have to add some raw meat to make her eat. Saying that I think Suzanna is okay with this flavor. It would be awesome if the pieces were slightly smaller.

My dog loves the taste of this but unfortunately he has had an upset tummy with it which has resulted in a trip to the vets, after studying the small print it mentions this is for over weight dogs ( mine isn’t ) I feel it’s what Ever is added to make it light which has upset my dog’s tummy as he has been fine with all the other flavours and this is his fifth month on SDS food ! I feel it should be made more prominent that this food is strictly for over weight dogs, if it had have been made more obvious I wouldn’t have ordered it.

Didn't realise when I ordered this one that it is intended for 'overweight' dogs (which my dog isn't). It would be helpful to make this clearer on the website as I would have ordered a different one instead.
